Few individuals have had a greater impact on the Milken Archive's sound than Gerard Schwarz. As a member of the Editorial Board and conductor of dozens of recordings, his involvement has been key to the realization of the Archive's founding vision. In this video, Schwarz recalls some of the professional and personal highlights from this significant time in his storied career: discovering masterpieces, conducting world-class orchestras, and the unexpected influence this work had on his son, cellist Julian Schwarz.
