Lukas Foss's Song of Anguish
Short documentary feature on the Milken Archive's recording of Lukas Foss's Song of Anguish. Includes candid footage of the late composer in discussion with Neil W. Levin, as well as a glimpse behind the scenes as Gerard Schwarz and the Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester Berlin prepare to record this solo cantata—a musical meditation on passages from the Book of Isaiah recounting God's anger and prophecies of doom for those "that call evil good, and good evil."
