Aaron Miller was born in Oswieçim (Auschwitz), Poland, to a family of Bobover Hassidim. As a child, he entertained at various Hassidic courts and ceremonies, sang in his father’s cantorial choir, and then formed his own traveling choir. Immediately after the Holocaust, Cantor Miller immigrated to America and served a number of orthodox cantorial posts. His many compositions were based on his improvisations.
