Dave Brubeck, who passed away 10 years ago, was a champion of social justice, using jazz as an instrument of activism in the service of unity. Among his most powerful works, The Gates of Justice puts into music and action his beliefs and talents to that ever-relevant cause.
We are excited to partner with the Lowell Milken Center for Music of American Jewish Experience to produce Music and Justice; a three-day event centered around a concert performance of The Gates of Justice on Feb. 26 at UCLA’s iconic Royce Hall. The performance will feature—for the first time ever—Brubeck’s sons Chris, Dan and Darius as the accompanying jazz trio.
We want to help our fans get the most of this historic occasion with a VIP Experience and additional prizes in time for Hanukkah!
