With its 150-year tradition, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Choir (RLPC) has always been central to the life of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Society. Its repertoire covers all periods and styles, from Bach to newly commissioned works, with full symphony orchestra and a capella, and it also plays a leading role in the famous Liverpool Carol Concerts. Ian Tracey, organist and Master of the Choristers at Liverpool Cathedral, has been chorusmaster of the Choir since 1985. The RLPC appears regularly in the BBC Proms in the Royal Albert Hall. Abroad, the Choir has toured to Spain, France, Germany, and the Netherlands.
