Massachusetts-born baritone Marcus DeLoach studied at The Juilliard School and has attended the Britten-Pears School in Snape, England; the San Francisco Opera's Merola Opera Program; and the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, California. In 1999 he won the first Wigmore Hall International Song Competition in London and gave a critically acclaimed recital there. He has appeared at the New York City Opera and the Opera Theatre of St. Louis and has been a frequent recitalist with the Marilyn Horne Foundation and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.
