Organist, conductor, pianist, coach, producer, educator, and composer Justin Bischof won first prize in the 2000 American Guild of Organists National Improvisation Competition held in Seattle, and is the founder and principal conductor of Modus Opera in Manhattan. Bischof received his doctorate from the Manhattan School of Music, where he later served as a member of the keyboard skills and theory faculty, and is currently a member of their Alumni Council. In addition to his annual performances with Roberta Peters and David Krakauer, he has worked with such notable artists as Allen Held, Kurt Olman, and Richard Zeller, and performs regularly as a conductor and soloist with orchestras worldwide.
