Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco
1895–1968
Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco was an Italian-born, Jewish composer most remembered today for his music for guitar and for film. Fleeing Mussolini's Fascist regime in 1939, he was one of several émigré composers who settled in Los Angeles in the 1930s and 1940s.
